Having been two weeks since the last time I played, and was out of ammo and needed to go pick some up. I normally use the Crosman .20s in most of my guns that you can get from places like Walmart or Dick's Sporting Goods. Don't jack my thread about how horrible these BBs are or that ol' bullshit. They work fine in all my guns and I have never had a problem with them. Anyway, MikeVTellEm and I took a trip to Walmart only to find that they didn't have any on the shelves; They only had .12s. Figuring that since Kmart also sells some airsoft stuff, we took a ride over there only to be met with the same disappointment. Then we noticed a small container with a light blue top sitting near the back of the case. I was desperate for some ammo and wasn't willing to drive halfway across town just to get some BBs, so I figured "why not?"
On the way out of the store, we looked at the container again and saw that it said that this was an Officially Licensed Product of Cybergun. I figured they cant be so bad since Cybergun licenses several popular airsoft guns.
Saying that buying these was a complete mistake is a total understatement. They are not even completely smooth like other BBs and have a slight texture to them, which I immediately disliked. At first they seemed like they would feed well in my M4, but after about 20 shots, my barrel got jammed. This happened about 3 more times, which was a huge problem because I was forced to go up against highly upgraded G&Gs and CAs armed only with G18Cs. After the 3rd time unjamming my gun, I took another look at the container. Despite the fact that it says "Compatible for all softairs" (btw, softairs? That sounds like Altair 's retarded cousin), written beneath "6mm Softair Caliber" is a small statement reading "Tight Tolerances (+/-0.03)." This was my moment of clarity and understanding as to why my M4 kept jamming, since it's equipped with a JBU 6.03mm inner barrel.
After that, I figured I'd try them in a completely stock gun. This is where my SCAR came in, which ended up completely rejecting these BBs altogether. They wouldn't even feed into the hop up. I also tried these BBs in my G17 mag, but they just got stuck in the mag to the point where the spring couldn't even push them up. I had to dig them out with a stick.
The container looks like this. Don't let 'em fool you, they're the crappiest BBs I've ever used.
